Local Biking and Walking Trails

Throw away the car keys if you like as you can walk or cycle to the trails virtually from the door.   Call in at Bothy Bikes where you can hire/repair bikes/get trail maps making this the perfect base for Mountain Biking. The miles of low ground trails on Rothiemurchus include a walk or cycle to Loch an Eilean , voted the 2008 Scottish Picnic Spot of the Year.

Other local activities for all ages including Tennis, Quad Bikes, Horse-riding, Safari tours, can all be booked at the Visitor Centre just 500m from the Cairngorms West House. They offer an amazing range of outdoor activites from canoeing, clay pigeon shooting, sled dog trips to gorge walking and more!
