From the South

Turn right from the A9 and follow signs for Aviemore on the B970, as you approach  Aviemore 

you will come to a new roundabout (with an Italian Restaurant on the left) turn right at this roundabout, following the sign for Cairngorms etc.,and continue for approximately 1 mile.  You will pass a little white church on your left, the next turn left after the church is the entrance to Cairngorms West House. There is a red post box and a sign saying The Dell of Rothiemurchus at the road end.  Turn left onto this tarmac farm road and continue for about 500m. The house faces you, enter through the gate on the left, which is always kept closed.

From the North

Turn left from the A9 and follow signs through Aviemore. At the southern end of the village you will come to a roundabout with an Italian Restaurant on your right. Turn left here on to the B970 and continue as above.
